History

Missionary Evangelism Ministries was begun and established for the purpose of providing a witness and light to the Latin world. The organization has been involved with a number of ministries including medical evangelism, native church planting, and Christian education.

In the late 70’s church planting and medical evangelism blossomed throughout Mexico. A strong emphasis on children’s evangelism saw many souls come to be part of the family of God.

The early 80’s our ministry spread in two directions. The medical evangelism was primarily focused in Honduras as the war waged between the Contras and Sandinistas. The Mexican churches planted in the 70’s were installed with national pastors and grown to full independence. In 1988 a new aspect of the organization was established to serve the border region of Texas and Mexico. The result was a Christian educational institution called Macedonian Christian Academy.

Macedonian Christian Academy has flourished in training and disciplining young people for the cause of Christ. This ministry has had close to 50% of its graduates work in full time or laymen ministries since its beginning. Little did we know that this new opportunity would add a fresh vision to Missionary Evangelism Ministries.

Soon, a need for our Spanish brethren to have a place of refuge and training for their young people became apparent. As the school grew into maturity and success, there was a call by pastors and missionaries in Latin America for help to establish their own Christian educational ministries. Missionary Evangelism is now developing a program to assist pastors and missionaries with the capabilities of developing their own educational ministries. As our ministries grow, we hope to see God continue keeping His hand in our endeavors to the Latin people of the world.
