BOND AND CONNECT

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS, GROWING TOGETHER, LIVING ON MISSION.

BAC: Bond and Connect is MCA's annual Spiritual Emphasis event designed to bring our school family together at the beginning of the year for intentional time with God and one another.

Throughout BAC, students from K3-12th grade will step away from their normal school routine for two special days focused on spiritual growth, relationships, and community. Students will participate in worship, Bible teaching, testimonies, small-group time, buddy activities, games, meals, and opportunities to connect across grade levels.

Our desire is for students to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while strengthening the relationships that make MCA a family.

WHAT IS BAC?

WHY BOND AND CONNECT?

BOND

Building meaningful relationships with classmates, teachers, older and younger students, and our MCA family.

CONNECT

Connecting more deeply with Christ and encouraging one another to live out our faith together.

MCA BUDDIES

One very special part of BAC is our MCA Buddy Program.
We intentionally pair our older students with students in the younger grades, giving them an opportunity to build relationships across generations of our school family.
BAC is the first large Buddy event of the school year— but it won't be the last! Throughout the year, Buddies will continue spending time together through school activities, hangout and bonding opportunities, and intentional time growing deeper in God's Word together.
Our prayer is that our older students will learn to encourage, serve, and lead by example, while our younger students gain someone they can look up to and connect with at MCA.

BAC gives our students an opportunity to begin the school year rooted in Christ, connected as a school family, and ready to live on mission.

Our youngest Lions are part of BAC too!

ECA students will participate in special, age-appropriate activities on both days centered around our school-wide theme, Grow in Christ.

Our 12th grade students will also be visiting the ECA campus as Buddies, giving our seniors a special opportunity to connect with, encourage, and spend time with our youngest students.

The ECA BAC schedule and activity details will be posted soon.

Orders must be submitted by the deadline so we can place our school-wide shirt order on time.

BAC Attire — Both Days
Students should wear their BAC shirt both Thursday and Friday with their regular uniform bottoms.
